Funk as a musical style took shape in the 60's of the last century as a mixture of R&B, soul, gospel and jazz. The focus shifted from melody to syncopated rhythm, and the result was hypnotic dance music, also dubbed 'groove'. Towel of Shower is a ten-member band consisting of the famous names of the Slovenian jazz and pop music scene. It is a tribute band, as they play the greatest hits of the famous American funk band Tower of Power, which is also hinted at by their name. The project offers everything a funk-hungry audience expects: strong ensemble brass section playing, smooth groove, perfect arrangements and an energetic singer. With their performances in Slovenia and abroad, they have already impressed a considerable number of listeners and music critics. These are musicians who always uncompromisingly give their best at their performances, offering a 'full bag of funk' and 'groove that makes you move...'

In case of bad weather, the concert will be held at the Kras Hotel.
