On Thursday, July 23, at 8:30 p.m., saxophonist and composer Blaž Švagan is coming to Tito Square in Postojna with his new album Absolute Candor. We will have the opportunity to hear jazz, which is being played by a young and promising generation of musicians.

Tenor saxophonist and composer Blaž Švagan from Maribor presents himself with a brand new album entitled Absolute Candor. The album was recorded in September 2024 in New York City and will be released this year on Inner Circle Records. With an exciting modern sound, the band imbued new compositions that are also inspired by metal and science fiction. The complex building breaks the rules of counterpoint here and there, but also allows for a place of calm during the energy-charged moments. The central piece Kolinahr, in the form of a suite, illustrates the ritual of transition to complete control of emotions and devotion to logic. There are several energetic moments in it, but at the same time the music allows a lot of space with a good measure of calm.
In case of bad weather, the concert will be held at the Kras Hotel.
