KiKi
Singer KiKi — on the internet Kikiwritings — has been described by the media as a "witch of intimate tales" and her music as "magical folk-pop."
In the fall of 2024, KiKi released her first album KRiKi (extended), which contains sixteen original songs in Slovene that range somewhere between pop and folk. Since then, she has performed at festivals such as Folkest (Italy), Waves Vienna (Austria), BUSH Festival (Hungary) and Druga Godba. You may have seen her at the Eurovision pre-selection, EMA 2025, where she performed the song O-ou!
At her concerts, you may be caught dancing to faster rhythms or wailing at the mourning, but Kika's voice will take you to her fairytale world in both cases. Along with the beautiful harmony of the backing vocalists and the somewhat unusual, sometimes dark lyrics, KiKi weaves narratives at concerts that let the listener get up close and sound almost like secrets told.
The singer-songwriter performs live with a band consisting of keyboardist Matevž Košutnik, guitarist Jan Kopač, bassist Ingrid Laventure, drummer Martin Jocif and vocalists Nika Trdin and Gala Pregel.
With the latest song Popoved, available on her YouTube channel, KiKi is already announcing her second album Fairy Tales.
