Banda Berimbau is a group of percussionists who come from different regions of Italy and other countries. They play different rhythms of Afro-Brazilian roots, from the typical samba enredo of Rio de Janeiro to Afro rhythms (samba-reggae, maracatù, ijexà, funky).

Banda Berimbau is a Brazilian percussion group founded in 1999 in Trieste. Over the years, it has grown to include percussionists from many Italian regions and countries from all continents.
Their percussion performance includes rhythms from different parts of Brazil, such as samba, ijexà and samba-reggae, as well as original contemporary compositions, from funk to drum 'n' bass, in the style of samba schools from Rio and Salvador de Bahia, where the energy of percussion reigns. It is one of the most active and recognized groups in its genre, having performed hundreds of performances in various environments, from concerts to street parades, in Europe, South America and the Middle East, and participated in international events such as Exit Fest in Novi Sad (Serbia), Rock for People (Czech Republic), Dubai Shopping Festival and Festa Traditional Italiana in Belo Horizonte (Brazil). They were also the opening act for famous Brazilian artists such as Gilberto Gil, Toquinho and Beth Carvalho. In recent years, he has worked closely and fruitfully with Fabio Allman, the former lead singer of the band Monobloco from Rio de Janeiro.
