Hiking Days 2026: View from Križna Gora to Cerknica Lake
We invite you to a hike to the former pilgrimage Križna Gora! We will start below the village of Klance and head into the forest towards the top of Križna gora (857 m).
We will circle the beautiful Church of St. Anthony. Cross and to the north, we saw the view of Bloke, Martin Krpan's hometown, and the Loška valley with Sněžnik in the background. At the end of the climb, there is a view of Cerknica, where the surface of Lake Cerknica will glisten.

Cycling in KS Prestranek
You are invited to recreational cycling, which will take place on the roads of KS Prestranek as part of the Cycle Bike project. The meeting point will be on the field at the Prestranek Elementary School at 4:30 p.m. The tour is 15 km long with 140 v.m. and is also suitable for beginners. We're going to be cycling in a tight group. Each participant receives a snack and a drink. Mandatory equipment is a flawless mountain or trekking bike and a protective helmet.

Hiking Days 2026: 16. Kunaver's march
Book the first Saturday in June for a visit to Notranjska and join us at the 16. Kunaver's march, organized by the Rakek Tourist Association.
We will gather in front of the Rakek railway station, and then leave ourselves to experienced guides who will take us over the Stražnik hill (646 above sea level) to the beautiful valley of Rakov Škocjan, which hides countless karst phenomena at a length of 2.5 km.

At VDC Postojna, we believe that there are no limits, there are only challenges that we overcome together. This year, we had the special honour of organising the 21st International Women's Festival. Regional Games of the Special Olympics of Slovenia MATP Primorsko-notranjska region, which will take place on April 23, 2026. We meet in the gym of the Miroslav Vilhar Elementary School and together with our competitors we spread the slogan "Let me win, but if I can't win, let me be brave in my attempt".

Čolnarimo: Nad požiralniki
Raziščite presihajoče Cerkniško jezero v delu, kjer voda presiha v podzemlje. Čeprav bomo veslali nad požiralniki, je v času, ko je jezero polno, strah odveč, saj je gladina mirna. S kanuji se bomo odpravili nad požiralniškim sistemom Rešeto, čez nasip, ki ločuje del s požiralniki od dela brez njih, do otoka Gorica in nazaj.
