A shocking reconstruction of attempts to rescue a Palestinian girl intertwines real-life footage of an emergency call with dramatized scenes in a call center. Grand Jury Prize in Venice and Golden Globe nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.
On January 29, 2024, Palestinian Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A six-year-old girl was trapped in a car during shelling in Gaza. Surrounded by the bodies of her family members, she asks for help in fright. While they try to calm her down, they do everything in their power to send her an ambulance.
