Borna Pehar presents her exceptional album Timezone, which represents a unique blend of creativity and artistic expression. The project, which originally evolved into a more production-oriented direction with a focus on beat music, has successfully transformed into an incredibly dynamic live music experience over time and through various changes. This musical creation promises freshness and innovation, as it intertwines different musical influences in its own way. 'Timezone' is a debut album that has been in the making over the past five years and promises a sonic journey that transcends time boundaries. The diverse cultural background of the international ensemble is seamlessly intertwined into a sonic tapestry and shows how the fusion of different influences breathes life into each composition.

Borna Pehar is a pianist, composer and producer from Zadar, Croatia. He completed his primary and secondary music education in Zadar. After switching from classical music to jazz, Pehar began studying jazz piano at the Kärntner Landeskonservatorium in Klagenfurt, Austria under the tutelage of Robert Bargad. After graduating in Klagenfurt, he continued his master's studies at the prestigious University of Music and Arts of the City of Vienna with Oliver Kent. Pehar actively participated in numerous jazz workshops, where he had the opportunity to work and learn with musicians such as Joe Lovano, Antonio Sanchez, Gregory Hutchinson, David Kikoski, Joel Ross and many others.

In 2025, the Croatian Music Association (HGU) named him Jazz Pianist of the Year, further recognizing his artistic contribution and musical achievements.

In case of bad weather, the concert will be held at the Kras Hotel.

The project was financially supported by the Municipality of Postojna and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.
