Confrontation of candidates for the mayor of the Municipality of Postojna

We are announcing the confrontation of candidates for the mayor of the Municipality of Postojna. It will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the hall of the Institute for Karst Research ZRC SAZU at Titov trg 2 in Postojna. It will be moderated by Klara Škrinjar.

Katya Chekhovin, Denis Česnik, Tina Klanjšek, Igor Marentič, Vladimir Slejko and Andrej Smerdu have confirmed their participation.

What would you ask the future mayor? We will choose part of the questions from your proposals. We are collecting questions by Sunday, November 1, 2026, on page https://mcp.si/soocenje. When asking, you can indicate whether it applies to the entire municipality, to the local community or to your town. After submission, you will receive an email with a confirmation link. We will only consider confirmed questions. We will not publish your email address.

Visitors will also be able to ask some questions at the confrontation, but time will be limited.

The confrontation is also expected to be broadcast live on YouTube.

The confrontation is being prepared by the Postojna Youth Centre, the Youth Council of the Municipality of Postojna and the Students' Club of the Municipalities of Postojna and Pivka. We would like to thank the Institute for Karst Research ZRC SAZU for allowing us to use the hall.
