Grad Vipavski Križ (Vipavski Križ 6a, Vipavski Križ)
Boštjan Gombač and Komorni orkester NOVA

On stage, Gombač unfolds his thirty-year-old world of exploring woodwinds and unusual sounds – from the reconstruction of the Neanderthal flute, the Armenian duduk, through the fujara, ocarinas, flutes that imitate birdsong to the clarinet. The strings enter this draught with harmony and warmth that create an ideal resonance field. Together, they emerge from the treasury of folk music, explore Baroque and Classicism, and present contemporary compositions in which sounds become narrators of mystery, emotions and unexpected atmospheres. With their combined energy, they prove that music is at its strongest precisely when we allow the wind of the new to blow through it.
