Join us for a delicious cross-cultural cooking experience! At the free cooking workshop, we will prepare dranike – crispy potato pancakes from Eastern Europe. ESC volunteer Anna will walk us through the recipe and share a part of her culture. We'll cook together and try it ready, of course! No prior knowledge is required – just bring goodwill and appetite. Statehood Day Concert: Tori Story & Nika Zore with Quartet.
Music and poetry - ethno and chanson. Nika Zore sings poetry set to music by accordionist Jure Tori for the bands Orlek and Flora & Paris. Winding and ear-caressing melodies on the accordion draw an interweaving of love and satirical poetry.
Poetry will also pay tribute to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Dragotin Kette and Ivan Cankar.

Competition with old hand fire pumps
The competition will be held for the sixth year. On display will be a number of old hand fire pumps that are still in operation. You will be able to cheer on the many dozens of veterans who will try to *extinguish* the target in the shortest possible time.

Exhibition Dripping into the Sea - The Kind That Triggers the Waves
Sustainable designer Maja Modrijan from the Distillor Association, which combines unique design and ethical and ecological processing of waste and natural materials, will exhibit her products on the ground floor of the library. The exhibition will open on June 4 at 6 p.m.
