Self-Made Music Spaces in the USA: Dr. David Verbuč
Dr. David Verbuč is one of the most prominent representatives of the newer generation of Slovenian ethnomusicologists who are dedicated to researching various forms of traditional and popular music in Slovenia and abroad. Since 2025, he has been teaching ethnomusicology and popular music at the Department of Musicology at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. Prior to that, he taught at the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University from 2014 to 2025.

On this occasion, they are preparing a jubilee concert programme dedicated to the half-century-long story of love, harmonies and superb polyphony.
